I want to share my journey in the hope it inspires and helps others who are going through a similar struggle.
In 2018, I had a microdiscectomy at L4-L5 because of severe pain in my right leg. Within five months, I fully recovered, went back to the gym, and was completely pain-free. Life felt normal again.
In early 2022, I had some pain in my left leg, but it went away in a month. Unfortunately, in December 2023, the pain came back much worse. Physiotherapy did not help, and in November 2024, I had endoscopic surgery. I am attaching an MRI taken before this surgery.
One month after the surgery, I felt a strange pulling sensation in my left leg. My MRI showed some fluid buildup, and my doctor said it was nothing serious. Still, the symptoms kept coming back, especially in the mornings, along with occasional calf pain and later a burning sensation.
Then things got worse. I went for another MRI in February 2025, and it showed that my disc herniation had returned. I am also attaching this MRI taken after my surgery in February 2025 when the herniation happened again. I was told to take complete rest, but I could not understand how it happened again. That day, I cried a lot and felt like my life was stuck. I did not even go home and spent the whole night thinking about my situation, feeling lost and hopeless.
This period affected me a lot mentally and professionally. I went from being very active, going to the gym, and following a healthy diet to being scared to even move in case the pain got worse. My social life stopped, my routine was broken, and I felt like I had lost myself. My professional life also suffered as I could only work either standing or lying down on the bed, and that was a real trauma for me.
In April, I met Bob, and things started to change. He suggested a 20-week rehab plan. After the first call, I felt more relaxed, positive, and hopeful. Bob did not just give me exercises. He gave me the confidence to believe I could get back to my normal life.
Now, in my 18th week, my pain is only 1 out of 10. I am doing everything I love again, including going to the gym, and I have a much more positive outlook on life.
Bob helped me recover not only physically but also mentally. He gave me my confidence, strength, and life back.
If you are suffering from a herniated disc or back pain, please do not rush into surgery. With proper rehab, patience, and a good diet, recovery is possible.
Thank you, Bob, for giving me my life back. - Donal B··from Google
I went to Bob with an ankle injury from running and he got me back out on my feet. He really knows his stuff and set me up with a program to ensure I prevent further injuries. He is always very helpful with any questions I needed answered. I'd highly recommend to anyone with a sports injury.

I went to Bob for months before moving out of Dublin, and it was a game changer. It has been the only time I have actually enjoyed physical training, and noticeably managed to improve my strength. Bob also took a holistic look at my health, including nutrition, health conditions and habits. I would have definitely continued had my situation not changed, and would 10/10 recommend to anyone!
